Job summary

ProLift Toyota Material Handling is seeking an experienced Shop Service Technician to provide world-class maintenance and repair services to forklifts and material handling equipment at customer locations. You will diagnose and repair electric and internal combustion forklifts, troubleshoot hydraulic/electrical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and document work accurately.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of experience in related equipment, a high school diploma, strong troubleshooting

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience repairing industrial equipment, heavy equipment, automotive diesel, agricultural, or material handling equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school education preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience with diagnostic software preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up-to 75lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electric and internal combustion forklifts.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and electronic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software.
• Complete accurate service documentation.
• Recommend repairs that improve customer uptime and equipment reliability.
• Maintain bay, tools, and inventory.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing ProLift professionally.
