Job summary

Dana Incorporated seeks a strategic procurement professional to oversee forgings category spend across North America. You will lead cost-reduction initiatives, develop commodity strategies, and manage RFIs/RFQs with data-driven TCO analyses to optimize supply and performance.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor supplier performance, and work toward continuous improvement in cost and service delivery. Travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Business (Supply Chain Management or Purchasing preferred) or Engineering (Product or Manufacturing).
• Professional Supply chain certification preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in procurement preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Formulate annual business plans for achievement of cost reductions and YoY performance improvement.
• Obtains and analyzes quotes to determine best value, then recommends global sourcing solutions based on data.
• Layout and explain a commodity strategy and track to the strategy for basic commodities.
• Provide documentation for review at sourcing councils including total landed cost analysis.
• Lead multiple projects to meet timing and milestones, supporting PPAP and launches.
• Negotiate basic contract terms while understanding Dana's Terms and Conditions.
