Job summary

Dana Corp in Ohio seeks a Senior Procurement Manager for the Forgings commodity, overseeing global spend in North America and leading cost-reduction initiatives, supplier negotiations, and strategic sourcing.

You will drive RFIs/RFQs, perform TCO analyses, coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor performance and reporting, and ensure continuity of supply through process improvements and contract management.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Business (Supply Chain Management or Purchasing preferred) or Engineering (Product or Manufacturing).
• Professional supply chain certification preferred.
• 5-7 years of procurement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulate annual business plans for cost reductions and performance improvement.
• Analyze quotes to determine best value and recommend global sourcing solutions.
• Develop commodity strategies and templates for basic commodities.
• Prepare documentation for sourcing councils including total landed cost analysis.
• Lead PPAP and launch with cross-functional teams.
• Negotiate terms and leverage for optimal supplier agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance and track savings forecasts and actuals.
