Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Senior Analyst for Silviculture and Forest Operations to provide technical forestry expertise and business analysis across North America. You will influence decisions, support investments, and drive continuous improvement with GIS, data, and cross-functional teams.

The role requires a BS in Forestry or related field, 3+ years in forestry/analytics, and strong modeling and communication skills. Hybrid work in North America with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in forestry or related field is required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• 3+ years in forestry, silviculture, forest operations, analytics, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and analytical support on silvicultural practices and operational performance.
• Translate objectives into analyses, recommendations, and implementation plans.
• Evaluate investments and technologies using financial and operational analysis.
• Utilize GIS and forest information systems to improve decision-making.
• Support procurement, supplier evaluation, and risk management.
• Coordinate research, trials, data collection, and implementation of findings.
• Lead cross-functional projects with schedules, risks, and stakeholder communications.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Forestry, Forest Management, Natural Resources, or related field
