Qualifications

• BS in Forestry, Forest Management, Natural Resources or related field; MS preferred.
• 3+ years in forestry, silviculture, analytics or related field.
• Knowledge of southern pine silviculture, genetics, nutrition and economics.
• Experience with GIS and forest information systems; SiMS desirable.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on silvicultural practices and operational performance.
• Translate objectives into analyses, tools, and implementation plans.
• Evaluate investments and alternatives using financial and operational analysis.
• Utilize GIS and data to improve decision-making and performance.
• Coordinate research participation, data collection, and implementation of findings.
• Support forest resource planning, harvest planning, and timber marketing.
• Lead cross-functional projects with schedules, risks, and stakeholders.
• Represent the company in industry associations and partnerships.
