Job summary

ArborWorks LLC is seeking a General Foreperson for utility vegetation management in Glendale, OR. The role leads multiple foreperson crews, ensures safety, and drives contract compliance and production in dynamic field environments.

The position requires leadership experience, a high school diploma, driving credentials, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Travel within service areas is expected.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management experience in field operations.
• Strong understanding of safety requirements in vegetation management.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and oversee field work.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Forepersons and crews, setting clear safety and productivity expectations.
• Coordinate daily vegetation management operations and scheduling, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Maintain safety culture, conduct tailboards and field safety observations, and ensure OSHA/ANSI Z133 compliance.
• Ensure work aligns with contracts, scope, and quality standards; coach Forepersons to reduce rework.
• Monitor production metrics and report labor hours and job status for billing and performance.
• Oversee equipment inspections, maintenance, and safe operation of tools and vehicles.
• Support workforce planning, onboarding, and training for Forepersons and crews.
• Serve as primary field contact for utility customers and inspectors, coordinating with internal departments.
• Support emergency response, storm restoration, and high-priority operations as needed.
