Job summary

SNA International seeks a Quality Assurance Officer to join our team in Dover, DE. The role supports the Quality Manager and oversees audits, SOP reviews, and education aligned with accreditation standards.

You may testify as an expert when required and assist with DoD DNA Operations metadata and training. The candidate will manage the Quality Management System, track conformance, and prepare technical reports for senior management.

Qualifications

• Experience auditing laboratories against accreditation standards (ISO/ANSI/ANAB).
• Knowledge of FBI Quality Assurance Standards for analysts.
• Willingness to testify as expert witness and provide technical assistance.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead assessor during internal audits of the laboratory against accreditation standards.
• Maintain and organize SOPs and Quality Manual documents; create electronic databases and archives.
• Assist in writing, reviewing, and editing laboratory documents for accreditation compliance.
• Perform external audits of other laboratories as a volunteer representative of a national accrediting body.
