Agency for Persons with Disabilities in Marianna, FL is seeking a Senior Residential Unit Specialist-Forensic for Pathways. The role oversees custody, safety, and well-being of residents under court custody in a secure setting, delivering rehabilitative and daily living training.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 40 pounds, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. It is not a telework role and reports to Pathways in Marianna with a $40,560 annual salary plus a

Qualifications

Must present a valid driver’s license to interview.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a psychiatric care or mental health setting.
High school diploma or its equivalent.
Must be able to perform duties that involve direct contact with residents in a secure forensic facility.

Responsibilities

Implements behavioral programs designed for each resident in an appropriate, fair, and impartial manner.
Documents all activities in the residence chart and notifies supervisor of issues.
Performs 1:1 specials and ensures documentation is completed timely and accurately.
Confer with unit supervisors on behavioral problems and assist planning corrective measures.
Cooperate with ward/unit supervisors to ensure residents receive prescribed care and training.
Make daily rounds of assigned wards/units for safety and sanitation and report findings.
