Job summary

The Vertex Companies LLC seeks a Senior Forensic Engineer to expand our testifying expert team for civil cases, including construction defect matters. You will lead a group of consultants, mentor staff, and collaborate with leadership to drive client satisfaction and practice growth.

You will oversee project delivery, ensure quality, and develop personnel while supporting hiring and career progression within the Forensic practice. A PE license and deposition experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 15 years of related experience or a Master's degree and 12 years of related experience
• 7+ years in a leadership role with significant impact
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required, with multiple states preferred
• Previous deposition and testimony experience required

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the forensic practice area, overseeing consultants and career development
• Support client satisfaction and employee engagement; contribute to business development
• Provide leadership in coordinating testifying support on civil cases and construction defect matters
• Ensure quality of service delivery, and compliance with applicable regulations and policies
• Mentor staff and build a high-performing team to achieve practice profitability
