Job summary

The Vertex Companies LLC is seeking a Senior Forensic Engineer to expand our testifying expert team in Tallahassee, FL. This role will provide expert support on civil cases, including construction defect litigation, and lead a team of consultants under the guidance of the Managing Director.

You will drive business development, oversee project delivery, and mentor staff while maintaining peak client satisfaction and engagement within the Forensic practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 15 years of related experience or a Master's degree and 12 years, with 7+ years in a leadership role.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required or preferred across multiple states.
• Deposition and testimony experience is required.
• Proven track record of customer relationship management and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the forensic practice area to meet profitability and utilization goals.
• Develop and mentor a team of consultants, including hiring and career development.
• Support business development and client relationships, including cross-selling other services.
• Ensure quality control of service delivery and rapid resolution of client or team issues.
