Job summary

H2M architects + engineers in Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead forensic investigations of residential and commercial properties, delivering expert analysis for insurance and legal clients. You will manage multiple cases, prepare detailed reports, and help grow the forensic engineering department.

The role emphasizes strong analytical and communication skills, field inspections, and collaboration with clients and internal teams to drive high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.
  • 8+ years of architectural or engineering experience, incl. forensic engineering
  • PE or RA license
  • Experience with law firms and insurance companies
  • Strong analytical, field inspection, and technical writing skills
  • Excellent communication and client service abilities
  • Project management and supervisory experience a plus
  • Familiarity with building codes, structures, and defect analysis
  • Experience with accident reconstruction or automotive failure analysis is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD/Revit familiarity is a plus
  • Annual Salary is between $120,000- $160,000.

At H2M, we’re expanding our forensic engineering team and seeking a Senior Engineer to lead investigations, deliver expert analysis, and support clients across the insurance and legal industries. Education & Qualifications
