Job summary

Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) is a leading engineering and scientific investigation firm specializing in forensic analysis of civil and structural failures. This role involves directing investigations, performing advanced analyses, and presenting findings to clients and courts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) required; Structural Engineer (S.E.) license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates forensic investigations related to civil and structural engineering failures, construction defects, and property damage.
• Conducts site inspections and evaluates structural damage, construction quality, and code compliance.
• Performs structural analysis and engineering calculations to support forensic opinions.
• Authors high-quality technical reports and expert opinions on civil and structural engineering matters.
• Provides expert testimony at deposition and trial.
• Mentors earlier-career employees in growth and development.
