Job summary

Genentech seeks a Principal Business Product Manager - Forecasting to lead the evolution of a unified, predictive forecasting platform. You will bridge forecasting tools, process, strategy, and technology with forecasters across the organization and coach cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

The role requires 8+ years in analytics product management with at least 5 years in pharma analytics, plus strong Agile leadership and executive stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Data Science, or another quantitative field.
• 8+ years total experience, with at least 5 years in pharmaceutical analytics or business analytics product management across multiple areas.
• Product management experience guiding analytical/digital products through lifecycle from ideation to launch and scaling.
• Deep domain knowledge in pharmaceutical revenue forecasting; 2+ years building revenue forecast models.
• Strong stakeholder alignment; ability to push back on misaligned requests.
• Extensive experience in Agile environments; backlog management and cross-functional coordination.
• Exceptional presentation and collaboration skills; ability to influence cross functionally.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy and roadmaps for forecasting products in remit.
• Translate pharmaceutical forecasting knowledge into scalable forecasting solutions to drive top-line growth and transparency.
• Manage data/analytics products through full lifecycle from ideation to launch and optimization.
• Collaborate with Data Leads, Data Scientists, IT, and business activation to deploy models, APIs, and UI/UX features.
• Oversee end-to-end business process mapping, user feedback, and UAT for rapid feature rollouts.
• Establish Agile standards, backlog rigor, and reusable templates for efficient execution.
• Partner with Forecasters, Finance, Data Science, IT, Field Analytics, and Digital Experience teams to deliver forecasting tools.
