Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Principal Business Product Manager - Forecasting to lead the evolution of the Commercial Forecasting ecosystem. You will translate pharmaceutical forecasting dynamics into scalable products, guiding cross-functional teams including data science, IT, and user-facing analytics to drive accuracy and transparency.

You will own the roadmap, collaborate with executives, and champion agile practices while ensuring compliance and alignment with corporate objectives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years total professional experience with at least 5 years in pharmaceutical analytics or business analytics product management across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Strong domain expertise in pharmaceutical revenue forecasting with a minimum of 2 years building revenue forecast models.
• Proven product management or product owner experience guiding analytical/digital products through full lifecycle.
• Extensive Agile experience managing complex backlogs and coordinating with IT and Data engineering teams.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to evangelize the product vision.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy and roadmap for forecasting products in remit.
• Coordinate with data science, IT engineering to develop analytics models and API services.
• Oversee end-to-end business process mapping, UAT, and user adoption.
• Establish agile standards and backlog management practices.
