Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. in Provo, UT is seeking a Sales Account Manager who will report to the Team Lead.

You will cultivate relationships with distributors and K-12 operators, drive incremental sales, negotiate pricing/programs, and align efforts with market plans. The role requires collaboration across business units, maintaining CRM records, managing spend and product mix, and supporting market events and local trade shows to grow and protect the core business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years outside sales experience in Food Service, Food Service Manufacturing, or Distributor Sales.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strategic thinking, planning, negotiation skills, understanding of motivational leadership skills, and conflict resolution skills;
• Event planning execution

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships and grow business with assigned distributor and/or K-12 operator accounts.
• Sell incremental items, negotiate pricing/programs and prioritize efforts against market plans.
• Work cross functionally with various business units and trade teams to grow new business and protect the core.
• Gather, create, and maintain key insight for all assigned accounts with key contacts, size of business, risks & opportunities; maintain CRM progress.
• Execute and manage all strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales Development Business Units and Trade teams to deliver/exceed sales plans; manage marketing programs, expense management and deduction resolution.
• Provide customer sales support for market events, meetings, presentations, product samplings and local trade shows.
• Manage spend and manage the mix of product sold; manage T&E Budget.
