Job summary

Hallkeen-Assisted-Living-Communities is seeking a Food Services Director/Executive Chef to lead the Food Services Department. You will establish standards of quality, conduct, customer service and productivity while managing staffing levels and inventories within budget.

The role requires planning, training and coordinating with the Executive Director and other departments to meet residents' dietary needs and ensure timely meal service. Strong leadership and cost-control skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a food service or kitchen team.
• Knowledge of nutrition, dietary requirements and menu planning.
• Ability to manage budgets and inventory in a healthcare or hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, hire and supervise staff for the Food Services department.
• Ensure resident diet requirements are met and meals served on time.
• Train staff and coordinate with other departments.
• Order food, supplies and equipment and manage inventory.
• Develop and maintain standard recipes and menus.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and operate within budget.
