Actalent in Saint Cloud, MN is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee QA and food safety in a manufacturing environment. You will lead quality systems, audits, staff, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

The role requires 5+ years in QA for food manufacturing, strong HACCP, SQF, USDA knowledge, and a bachelor’s in a related field. Competitive benefits and full onsite work are provided.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years of quality assurance experience in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, SSOP, GMP, SQF, and Food Defense.
• Understanding USDA regulatory compliance and audit processes.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee quality assurance, food safety, HACCP, SSOP, GMP, SQF, and regulatory programs, ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
• Develop, maintain, and update quality procedures, reports, product specs, sanitation records, and other quality system docs.
• Lead audits, trainings, and quality meetings, and communicate key quality topics across teams.
• Manage audits, inspections, certifications, lab testing, recalls, lot tracking, and product release communications.
• Monitor supplier, cold storage, shipping, receiving, sanitation, pest control, and raw material programs; implement corrective actions.
• Support label approvals, UPCs, carton/bag specs, nutrition docs, net weight compliance, and product spec accuracy.
• Respond to USDA and customer concerns with timely investigation, resolution, and documentation.
• Provide leadership for QA staff and manage department budgets and supplies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continual quality improvements and audits readiness.
