Job summary

Leoforce in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Production Manager to lead production operations, overseeing filling, labeling, and packaging while driving safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will coach and develop salaried and hourly staff, manage budgets, ensure GMP/HACCP compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in SAP and bilingual English/Spanish are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience leading both salaried and hourly employees.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience; food manufacturing preferred.
• Experience managing production budgets and financial data.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direct oversight of production operations.
• Manage production, filling, labeling, and packaging departments.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop salaried and hourly employees.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management activities.
• Support departmental objectives and execute strategies to meet annual operating budgets.
• Partner with Plant leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment.
• Maintain communication with Warehouse, Maintenance, Facilities, Quality, and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with GMP requirements and Quality Systems expectations.
• Support audits, inspections, and Internal Control System requirements.
• Assist with production planning and scheduling to achieve targets.
• Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational excellence.
• Monitor and improve KPIs related to safety, quality, efficiency, service, waste, cost, and savings.
• Support capital investment projects and optimize capacity.
