Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Production Manager for its Las Cruces, NM operation. The role oversees processing, filling, labeling and packaging, leading salaried and hourly staff and driving improvements across safety, quality and cost.

You will manage budgets, KPIs and capital projects while partnering with Quality to maintain GMP and HACCP requirements. Relocation assistance is provided for this opportunity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of food manufacturing leadership experience.
• Proven success leading and developing production teams.
• Experience managing production budgets, costs and financial performance.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, sanitation and food-safety requirements.
• Experience using production KPIs to improve performance.
• Continuous improvement experience.
• SAP or comparable ERP experience.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop production workforce.
• Develop supervisors and leadership team.
• Manage performance against KPIs.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, service, efficiency, waste and cost.
• Optimize labor, materials and capacity.
• Manage production schedules to meet inventory and customer requirements.
• Ensure GMP, HACCP, food safety with Quality.
• Collaborate with maintenance, warehouses, facilities and other operations leaders.
• Support budgets and analyze financial performance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Participate in capital investment and plant improvements.
• Maintain audit/inspection readiness.
• Develop and maintain SOPs.
• Support sanitation/food safety programs.
• Build culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
