Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Rogers, AR is seeking a Senior Technician, Facility Services, Food Equipment to perform routine maintenance ensuring safety, functionality, and aesthetics of facilities and food equipment.

This full-time, on-site role offers a pay range of $33.00–$63.00 per hour and may involve varying shifts. You will inspect, repair, operate systems, manage parts inventory and work orders, and train others while ensuring OSHA/EPA compliance, safety, and quality standards in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Option 1: Vocational or technical certification and 3 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 6 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• License in a related trade in the city and/or state where the job is located.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance to ensure safety, proper functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, or fixtures by following established maintenance schedules and guidelines.
• Inspects, cleans, and repairs equipment. Observes and documents signs of wear and tear. Recommends repair needs. Determines replacement needs. Documents maintenance activities.
• Performs major and minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures and oversees work of less‑experienced associates by determining scopes of work for projects.
• Utilizes multiple craft skills to inspect, operate, or test systems to diagnose issues.
• Dismantles equipment to access and remove defective parts. Uses blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
• Trains a Developmental Technician for on‑the‑job training and hands‑on instruction. Delivers hands‑on training sessions on safety, control troubleshooting, and system operations.
• Ensures financial sustainability and manages work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors by completing required written and electronic information.
• Complies with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines and ensures quality work that meets federal, state, and local regulations.
• Participates in an on‑call rotation to support business critical needs outside of standard business hours.
• Operates, inspects, and maneuvers heavy machinery and powered equipment and performs safety checks.
• Maintains company vehicles and coordinates required maintenance.
• Submits maintenance invoices, checks insurance coverage, and ensures documentation.
• Wears company uniform and badge as required.
• Leads and participates in teams; coordinates work assignments and supports change.
• Develops processes to meet business needs; analyzes information and reports results.
• Demonstrates compliance with company policies and ethics; supports inclusion and belonging.
