The Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) is seeking a Supervisory Attorney Advisor in FOIA matters with the Office of the General Counsel. You will direct staff, provide legal counsel on FOIA, PA, FISMA, and related laws, and guide agency actions for records requests.

You will coordinate intra-agency FOIA matters with DOJ components and interagency parties, and advise on policies and directives to senior management. Strong leadership and legal drafting skills are essential.

Formación

• Education: LL.B. or J.D. degree with degree details requested.
• Licensure: active bar admission in any state, DC, or territory.
• Experience: four (4) full years of post-LL.B./J.D. professional legal work.

Responsabilidades

• Develop FOIA and Privacy Act guidelines and procedures.
• Serve as agency's primary legal authority on FOIA/PA matters.
• Direct coordination with DOJ components and interagency FOIA work.
• Advise staff on policies, procedures, and directives from senior officials.
