Job summary

AssetWatch seeks a Senior Mobile Engineer to lead our Flutter/iOS and Android apps, shaping architecture, and collaborating with backend teams on REST/GraphQL. You will prototype quickly with product/design and drive features from concept to production, while mentoring peers and ensuring robust, scalable mobile solutions.

You will work in a remote-first environment across the US, with core hours in the Eastern Time Zone and a focus on reliable, offline-ready mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with Flutter/Dart
• Experience designing and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs
• Hands-on, product-minded engineer who prototypes quickly and delivers well-built features
• Experience using agentic coding tools and maintaining technical ownership
• Strong debugging and performance-optimization skills with monitoring tools

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and ship Flutter apps across iOS and Android
• Shape mobile architecture and establish patterns and standards
• Collaborate with backend engineers on REST/GraphQL APIs and data contracts
• Prototype ideas with product and design and turn validated prototypes into durable features
• Apply product engineering mindset with end-user focus for cross-platform impact
• Lead and mentor engineers, contributing to code reviews
• Troubleshoot code for customers and field technicians end-to-end using Sentry and Datadog
