Expedia Group seeks a Senior Mobile Engineer (Flutter) to design, build, and maintain a cross-platform mobile experience for Layla, a conversational travel assistant. You will own features end-to-end, from design through release, collaborating with product, design, and backend teams.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality, accessible mobile experiences with strong testing, CI/CD, and performance focus, including AI-enabled capabilities while ensuring safe integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Flutter and Dart production mobile apps experience with ownership from design to release.
• Experience delivering to iOS and Android from a shared codebase; API integration & data modeling.
• Maintainable, testable mobile codebases using modern tooling and libraries.
• Familiarity with AI-driven systems and safely integrating AI/ML features.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Layla’s cross-platform mobile experience in Flutter (Dart).
• Own end-to-end feature delivery for mobile, including API integration and data modeling.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and backend engineering to create intuitive mobile flows.
• Drive mobile quality with automated testing, CI/CD, performance monitoring, and observability.
• Safely integrate AI/ML-enabled capabilities within the app and ensure responsible use.
