Job summary

Expedia Group's Layla AI team seeks a Senior Mobile Engineer to build Layla’s mobile trip-planning and booking experiences across iOS and Android using Flutter.

You will own end-to-end feature delivery from design through release, integrate with back-end services, and apply AI/ML capabilities responsibly to deliver intuitive, high-performance mobile flows for travelers. This role is based in Austin and offers startup pace within a global travel company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Production mobile apps built with Flutter/Dart for iOS and Android.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Layla’s cross-platform mobile experience in Flutter (Dart).
• Own end-to-end feature delivery for mobile, including API integration and data modeling.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and backend engineers to create intuitive mobile flows.
• Drive quality with automated testing, CI/CD, and performance monitoring.
• Safely integrate AI/ML capabilities into the app with responsible use.
