Job summary

Joulé seeks a Lead Integration Engineer in Pittsburgh, onsite, to lead the integration, optimization, and operation of complex fluidic and instrumentation systems for advanced human-relevant platforms.

You will design fluidic architectures, ensure reliable operation, and contribute to scalable systems that integrate mechanical, fluidic, and control elements for standardized workflows. Strong cross-disciplinary collaboration is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field is required.
• 3+ years of experience with fluid handling systems and experimental platforms.
• Experience integrating fluidic hardware with instrumentation and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize fluidic systems including manifolds and pump-controlled networks.
• Build stable, leak-free circulation with reproducible flow across platforms.
• Support development of physiologically relevant flow conditions.
