Job summary

Qualifications

• BSME or BSEE required.
• 5+ years R&D / application engineering in the automotive industry.
• Proficient in CAD, drawings, and tolerance calculations.
• Fluent English, cross-cultural collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D technical interface for North American customers with regional Sales & BD Manager.
• Serve as regional SME for mechanical and electrical pumps; conduct design reviews and sizing.
• Perform CAD modeling, assembly creation, drawings, and tolerance calculations.
• Collaborate with German HQ R&D for platform alignment and with Juarez production for DFM/localization.
• Oversee prototype builds, validation testing, and root-cause analysis for issues.
• Evaluate regional suppliers and identify design-to-cost opportunities.
• Create and manage engineering release data and technical specifications per ISO/IATF.
