Blue Origin LLC seeks a Principal Specialist to provide technical leadership in the development, fabrication, integration, and testing of ground and test systems for engineering development and production. You will work across engineering, manufacturing, test, and operations to ensure readiness and repeatability of hardware.

The role requires deep hands-on expertise with fluid and electro-mechanical systems, with a focus on safety, quality, and configuration control, and may involve up to 25%

Formación

• Minimum: Associate degree in STEM or 25+ years aerospace ground-system experience.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, cryogenic and electro-mechanical assemblies.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership across requirements definition, design, procurement, fabrication, integration, checkout, and deployment of hardware.
• Support construction, commissioning, operation, and continuous improvement of facilities.
• Develop standards and procedures for precision cleaning, testing, and acceptance of hardware.
• Lead troubleshooting and fault investigations of valves and related components.
• Create and release manufacturing work orders and manage material requirements.
• Maintain configuration control of engineering drawings and documentation.
• Mentor technicians and align cross-functional teams on manufacturing readiness.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reliability, and safety.
