Naval Nuclear Laboratory in New York's Town of Niskayuna seeks an experienced engineering technologist for the Fluid Dynamics Experiments team. You will design and operate a wide range of thermal hydraulic and fluid flow experiments using advanced instrumentation and laser-based techniques.

You will build one-of-a-kind test sections and support hardware development, delivering cost-effective solutions to enable timely execution of high-priority programs with current and next-generation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive relevant experience OR related degrees with minimum years.
• Hands-on test hardware assembly and operation experience required.
• Interest in applying new technologies to experiments.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct and operate test hardware for thermal hydraulic experiments.
• Execute advanced optics- and laser-based measurement techniques.
