Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Senior Float Pharmacy Technician to support the 30 Phoenix-area sites, dispensing prescriptions under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and performing essential clerical duties. The role requires an active AZ Pharmacy Technician license and 1+ year of pharmacy and prescription data entry experience.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Arizona Pharmacy Technician license.
• 1+ years of pharmacy and prescription data entry experience.
• Ability to cover all 30 Phoenix sites to cover PTO and callouts as needed.
• Office hours Monday through Friday 7:30am–5:00pm.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and updates inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Performs clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicates professionally, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to cover all 30 sites in the Phoenix area.
