Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Senior Float Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing and clerical duties across its mental health and specialty pharmacies.

The role requires a licensed Arizona Pharmacy Technician with data entry experience, strong communication, and the ability to cover 30 Phoenix-area sites. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, with home site at 1515 E Osborn Rd, Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Arizona Pharmacy Technician license.
• 1+ years of pharmacy and prescription data entry experience.
• Ability to cover all 30 sites in the Phoenix area to cover PTO and callouts as needed.
• Office hours Monday through Friday 7:30am-5:00pm.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and compliance with regulations.
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
