Job summary

CAE in Mesa, AZ seeks an Instructor Pilot to lead simulator sessions and pre-flight briefings, building confidence and ensuring pilots are prepared for critical moments. You will contribute to CAE's training excellence with advanced technology and ongoing professional development.

The role supports delivery of pilot training under EASA/UKCAA/QCAA standards, supervises instructors, updates training manuals, and drives quality assurance and safety integration within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in flight training.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Knowledge of EASA and UKCAA Part‑FCL, Part‑ORA, and AMC/GM requirements.
• Valid EASA Flight Instructor Certificate with cross‑license experience.
• Valid FAA Pilot Certificates and Flight Instructor Certificates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure training programs comply with EASA, UKCAA, and QCAA requirements.
• Maintain and update Training Manuals and Operations Manuals.
• Develop, maintain, and standardize training syllabi across courses.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and outcomes.
• Supervise and assess flight instructors and examiners.
• Keep instructor qualifications current and pursue professional development.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance for flight operations.
• Conduct internal audits and support regulatory inspections.
• Collaborate with Safety Management to integrate safety principles.
• Drive continuous improvement in training quality and compliance.
