Job summary

Georgia Tech Research Institute is seeking a Systems Engineer for the ANGPD within the Air National Guard Test Center operations. This full-time role is based in Shalimar, FL and requires coordinating cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage complex flight test systems.

You will lead technical teams, mentor colleagues, and interact with senior military leadership while ensuring compliance with security and program requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Experience with major defense programs.
• Experience with flight test and test ranges.
• Experience with Flight Test Planning, Electronic Warfare, avionics and missions systems testing.
• Familiarity with flight test data, analysis, and post-test evaluation.
• Ability to interact with senior military leadership.
• Strong program management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead system design and architecture across large-scale deployments.
• Direct sub-contractor resources for system engineering areas.
• Translate requirements into physical architectures for complex systems.
• Develop technical reports and diagrams detailing system attributes.
• Guide teams to implement and maintain architecture roadmaps and standards.
• Coordinate input from researchers and prepare final reports.
• Serve as SME for systems engineering tools and technologies.
