Job summary

Georgia Tech Research Institute in Tucson, AZ seeks a Software Engineer for the ANGPD at the AATC operations section. You will design, develop, and test software for open-systems compute enclaves on aircraft, and lead CI/CD pipelines and container-based deployments.

Required are strong software engineering skills in Python/C/C++/Java, experience with Docker/Kubernetes, DevSecOps practices, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance. Travel of 10–25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience in one or more modern languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java).
• Experience with containerized computing (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Perform software development, debugging, modification, enhancement, and documentation.
• Design, test, and develop computer software to meet program requirements.
• Apply computing systems expertise to define requirements and develop software designs.
• Develop and maintain kernel and user-level software and scripts.
• Contribute to research reports, presentations, white papers, and proposals.
• Create and analyze network protocols.
