Job summary

Archer, headquartered in Silicon Valley with flight test operations in Salinas, seeks a Sr. Product Quality Engineer - Flight Test to embed on the flight line.

You will execute quality controls for developmental aircraft, perform first article inspections, and support conformity activities with FAA processes in a fast-paced prototype environment. You will collaborate with design, integration, and test teams to drive root-cause investigations, maintain inspection plans, and ensure airworthiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years in aerospace quality/manufacturing
• Experience in flight test environments or active flight lines preferred
• Knowledge of AS19102 FAI and FAA conformity processes preferred

Responsibilities

• Flight line quality execution inspecting airframe components, avionics, wire harnesses, and systems on-site
• Assist with FAA conformity inspections and prepare hardware/documents for inspections
• Conduct MRB dispositions and apply RCCA/CAPA techniques
• Develop and maintain electronic inspection plans within MES
• Apply GD&T and review 2D/3D models using metrology tools to verify hardware
• Collaborate with Design, Aircraft Integration, and Test Operations to feed learnings back into design loops
