Job summary

JT4, LLC seeks a Senior Engineer VI to lead contract research, development, integration, and sustainment on major DT&E programs. You will serve as principal investigator and technical advisor, interfacing with customers from quotation through design and test activities.

The role requires advanced methods, project leadership, and a path to PIIC-like planning across DT/OT/TTP domains, with DoD/DAF standards. A Master of Science in Engineering with 16+ years or a PhD with 12+ years is required,

Qualifications

• MS in Engineering or PhD in Engineering with required years of experience.
• Strong leadership and ability to direct senior technical personnel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and briefing skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in solving complex system design requirements.
• Conduct investigations of considerable complexity.
• Provide technical consultation to other organizations or customers.
• Direct interface with internal and external customers at all levels from quotation to final design and test activities.
• Plan, conduct, and technically direct projects or major phases of significant projects.
• Review completion and implementation of systems additions and/or enhancements and recommend corrections in technical application and analysis to management.
• Represent the company as technical advisor in high-level meetings and briefings.
• Prepare, deliver, and submit technical papers and perform engineering studies.
• Support development of technical proposals and comments on scope of work.
• Act as a company/industry expert resource on complex engineering problems.
• Maintain technical project responsibility and report progress to management.
• Conduct site visits and investigations and propose solutions.
• Develop and implement technical/administrative policies and procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties.
