Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking an Instrumentation Operation Engineer III to modify, install, test, and document airborne data acquisition systems and ground support equipment. You will lead a maintenance team and coordinate with engineering, logistics, and program management to meet project requirements.

This role requires a BS in Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 4 years of related experience, or an MS with 2 years, or a PhD. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from ABET accredited program with 4 years related engineering experience, or MS with 2 years, or PhD in engineering.
• Engineer III must be a technical authority on projects and apply latest engineering developments.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Modify, install, test, evaluate, repair and document airborne data acquisition systems and ground support equipment.
• Lead sustainment, operations and maintenance team on complex tasks.
• Interface with customers and participate in design reviews and technical working groups.
• Prepare technical proposals and analyze technical feasibility and effort.
• Develop system/subsystem specifications and maintain documentation.
