Iron Will Ventures in Huntsville, AL invites a skilled Flight Test Analysis candidate to join the team responsible for development, testing, and evaluation of flight vehicles for DoW programs. You will support system engineering across requirements, modeling and simulation, and test reporting, with heavy emphasis on GNC, M&S, telemetry, and trajectory analysis.

The role requires advanced degree in STEM, 12+ years on DoW projects (or 7+ with a bachelor’s), and active clearance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM field (e.g., physics, engineering, math).
• 12+ years working on DoW programs/projects.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 7+ years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Active Secret security clearance; US Citizenship; TS/SCI (eligible) preferred.
• Specialized in at least one Flight Test Analysis technical discipline: aerodynamics, equations of motion, coordinate systems, vehicle dynamics, GNC; experience with trajectory analysis; MATLAB/Python/Java/C#; TAOS/STK; knowledge of AF SIM or DoW sims.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support DoW customers with development, test, and evaluation of flight vehicles as part of the Flight Test Analysis Team.
• Support customer system engineering in flight vehicle design, analysis, and test including requirements development and assessment, modeling and simulation, test analysis and reporting.
• Utilize knowledge of flight vehicle characteristics to support analysis and data product development.
• Focus areas include GNC, M&S, telemetry systems, and vehicle performance assessments.
• Generate and analyze 6-DoF and 3-DoF trajectories using TAOS and in-house tools (MATLAB, Python, C++).
• Analyze onboard instrumentation data, process telemetry, develop trajectory reconstructions, and generate performance reports.
• Collaborate with experts to develop analysis and engineering tools.
• Travel up to 25%.
