Job summary

Leidos, located in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation Engineer to lead HWIL infrastructure for flight system programs, including glide munition and cruise missile projects. Travel for engagements and flight test support may be required.

Reports to the Flight Vehicle Modeling and Simulation manager within the Small Airborne Effectors Division. Key duties include coordinating with program leadership, developing test plans and regression tests, and assisting with HWIL

Qualifications

• Experience with HWIL simulations for aerospace vehicles.
• Proficiency in test plans and test reports for HWIL simulations.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage HWIL simulation infrastructure for flight system programs.
• Understand flight vehicle capabilities and how to test them in HWIL.
• Coordinate with leadership and engineers on integrating components and updates.
• Develop test cases for regression testing and DV/VT activities with documentation.
