Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Crew Chief for advanced developmental flight test of revolutionary products. You will coordinate aircraft maintenance, flight execution, and readiness reporting across teams to support a fast-paced test program.

The role requires 8+ years of airframe and powerplant experience, active TS clearance, and the ability to obtain an A&P license within a year. Travel and multi-skilling are expected in a dynamic defense tech environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient with computer use.
• Willing to be multi-capable, including electronics troubleshooting and repair.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Active TS Clearance, investigation within 5 years or continuous evaluation.
• 8 years or more of airframe and powerplant experience.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Ability to obtain A&P license within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform flight test maintenance including modification, instrumentation, documentation, and post flight analysis.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, rig and repair aircraft and aircraft subsystems.
• Conduct a variety of aircraft ground operations including Launch, Recovery, and Ground Engine run-up.
• Perform standard preflight maintenance on fixed or rotary wing aircraft.
• Complete aircraft and equipment documentation.
• Procedural Development.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain site support equipment.
• Communicate mechanical assessment with engineering and manufacturing personnel.
• Assist with validation and testing of various electronic components using equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks.
• Perform proper FOD and tool control practices.
