Extensive experience installing, troubleshooting and checking flight test instrumentation systems.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and draft procedures precisely.
Willing to be multi-capable, incl. electronics troubleshooting.
Active TS Clearance with recent investigation or continuous evaluation.
8+ years of aircraft avionics experience.
5+ years of developmental flight test experience.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and travel as needed.
Willingness to travel for assignments.

Responsibilities

Service, troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain aircraft avionics and ground support equipment for test ops.
Modify, install, and test electronics and mechanical equipment for modifications and tests.
Correct discrepancies by removal, repair, or replacement of defective avionics and subsystems.
Perform scheduled maintenance and functional checks on avionics and subsystems.
Fabricate and modify aircraft harnesses, coax cables, and fiber optics with guidance.
Load and maintain software configuration on Aircraft and Ground Segment.
Extensive experience with software loads and regressions in development env.
Maintain DTED, WX, aeronautical charts and mission planning data.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain landing gear, fuel, flight control, propulsion.
Conduct ground ops including launch, recovery and engine run-up.
Perform standard preflight maintenance on prototype aircraft.
Document aircraft and equipment activities accurately.
Communicate avionics assessments with engineering and manufacturing.
Practice proper FOD and tool control.
