Job summary

JMJ Phillip Group is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the development, integration, and optimization of flight planning and display systems in Mountain View, CA. You will translate operational needs into system requirements and support architecture and design decisions.

You will ensure system performance, reliability, and usability throughout the development lifecycle, coordinating cross-disciplinary teams to validate requirements and drive improvements in usability and safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and validate system requirements for flight planning and display systems.
• Translate operational and user needs into clear technical requirements and specifications.
• Perform requirements analysis, traceability, verification, and validation.
• Identify system dependencies, constraints, risks, and technical trade-offs.
• Contribute to system architecture, interfaces, and technical design decisions.
• Coordinate integration of software, hardware, avionics, and supporting systems.
• Support system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and verification activities.
• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
• Support the development and optimization of flight planning functionality and display systems.
• Evaluate system usability, performance, and operational effectiveness
