Job summary

Intuitive Machines, LLC in the Bay Area seeks a Flight Software Verification & Validation Engineer to drive test planning, execution, and verification of spacecraft flight software. The role is based in Palo Alto or San Jose and focuses on delivering reliable, safe software for missions.

You will collaborate with flight software teams, review requirements, and maintain traceability matrices while applying V&V best practices to mission-critical programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in test planning, test case development, and test execution.
• Experience with requirements traceability and verification matrices.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for test automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for flight software verification.
• Create detailed test procedures and test cases based on software requirements.
• Perform integration and system-level testing.
• Support hardware-software integration activities.
• Document test results and maintain traceability matrices.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with flight software development teams.
• Support mission-critical testing activities and launch campaigns.
