Blue Origin in Denver, CO is seeking a Flight Software Engineer III to own embedded avionics software for spacecraft subsystems, from requirements through verification and into operations. You will develop in C/C++ for real-time, multi-threaded systems and support agile DevOps practices.

The role requires strong communication with program and technical leadership, and a BS in a technical field with 5+ years of embedded software experience. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded avionics software for spacecraft subsystems in C/C++.
• Verify software requirements with traceability from system specs.
• Develop real-time, multi-threaded software and test environments.
• Lead debugging and anomaly investigations across hardware/software.
• Define interfaces with avionics and systems engineering.
