Apex Space, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Flight Software Engineer to design, develop, and own the software that brings our satellite buses to life.

You will tackle autonomous, mission-critical software with the mission operations, GNC, and hardware teams to craft robust solutions used across launch, test, and flight phases. The role requires 8+ years of flight software experience, a CS/EE degree, and strong C++, Python, or Rust skills.

• 8+ years of total flight software experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, or Rust.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and own mission-critical software for satellite systems throughout the full software lifecycle.
• Develop rapid, iterative software for bench testing and validated software for flight systems.
• Plan and execute unit, integration, and system-level testing of satellite components.
• Collaborate across systems, hardware, test, and operations teams to define roadmaps.
• Support spacecraft commissioning during launch and early operations.
