The Department of Transportation seeks a Principal Flight Oversight Inspector to oversee and ensure safety across certification, surveillance, and enforcement for assigned air carriers and designees.

The role requires extensive flight experience, an ATP certificate, and adherence to strict regulatory standards. Successful candidates will lead inspection programs and ensure compliance with 14 CFR obligations.

Qualificações

• Not more than two incidents involving CFR violations in the last five years.
• Valid State driver's license.
• Fluency in English.
• No chemical dependencies or drug abuse.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and provide safety assurance for certification, surveillance, compliance, enforcement, and inspection duties for assigned air carriers and designees.
• Ensure operations meet 14 CFR standards for operations, cabin, ground, cargo, and dispatch programs.
• Establish work programs for inspection and surveillance.

Pilot experience (multi-engine >12,500

Experience with air carriers/airmen

Total flight hours (1,500+)

Airline Transport Pilot Certificate

< two accidents in last five years
