The Department of Transportation seeks an Aviation Safety Inspector (Airworthiness) to support the Principal Inspector in certification, surveillance, and inspection duties for air carriers, operators, and related designees.

You will help establish work programs, review maintenance and alterations, and ensure compliance with Title 14 CFR. Candidates must meet OPM standards and pass medical and fitness requirements; fluent English and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Fluency in the English language required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Assist in certification, surveillance, and inspection duties for air carriers, operators, air agencies, airmen, and designees.
• Assist in establishing work programs for inspection and surveillance.
