The Federal Aviation Administration seeks an Assistant Principal Operations Inspector to perform the full range of certification, surveillance, and inspection duties for air carriers, operators, and designees, ensuring compliance with 14 CFR. This is a permanent, full-time position with program responsibility to assure compliance.

Locations include Miramar, Orlando, Tampa, Atlanta, Charlotte, Greensboro, Memphis and other duty sites.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid State driver's license is required.
• Experience in aviation safety or related field is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the administration of certification, surveillance, and inspection duties for air carriers, operators, and related entities.
• Conduct investigations and prepare reports; assist in enforcement actions.
• Evaluate manuals and training programs for compliance with 14 CFR.
• Monitor operations and coordinate with geographic inspectors to identify safety trends.
