Job summary

Leonardo S.p.A. in Philadelphia seeks a Senior Quality Manager for Flight Line Quality Control Management and Execution of Helicopter Flight Line within an FAA part 21 approved Quality System.

You will drive compliance with FAA, AS9100, Lean Six Sigma, and lead personnel development while delivering zero-defect aircraft to customers through safe, on-time operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or related engineering field.
• 5+ years of management and quality experience.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 QMS and FAA requirements; Lean/Six Sigma.
• Ability to engage with executives and stakeholders; leadership and change agent.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt desired; Green Belt required; FAA A&P license desired.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, on-time actions bringing production helicopters to operation, ground run, flights, acceptance & delivery.
• Ensure compliance of Quality System with FAA guidelines, procedures and policies.
• Represent QC as the prime contact for customer delivery activities.
• Lead continuous improvement using DMAIC and statistical analysis to improve flight line processes.
