Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking a Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer to develop, integrate, and test core flight autonomy capabilities across Group 1-5 aerial platforms. You will work cross-functionally to integrate GNC algorithms into software and product stacks for commercial and defense applications.

The role requires a Master’s in a relevant field, 6+ years of GNC experience, and proficiency in C++ or Python.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aerospace, Robotics, EE, ME, or CS required.
• 6+ years hands-on GNC software for autonomous systems.
• Experience in C++ or Python for autonomy algorithms.
• Experience with outer-loop control or path planning.
• Experience modeling 3DoF/6DoF air-vehicle dynamics for GNC.

Responsibilities

• Write software for autonomous aircraft systems including F16s and UAVs.
• Build and improve autonomy software architectures for real systems.
• Collaborate with DoD experts and 3rd party UAS vendors to integrate software onto OEM hardware.
