Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation in Irvine, CA is seeking a seasoned Test Engineer to design and conduct performance, environmental, and operational tests to verify customer design specifications. You will coordinate qualification and R&D test programs across diverse programs.

Responsibilities include developing test procedures, analyzing data, and communicating results to management and customers. The role requires strong engineering knowledge and collaboration across teams to ensure test readiness

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (BS) in engineering and six or more years of related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of test engineering theories, principles, industry practices, procedures, concepts, techniques, regulations, and policies.
• Working knowledge of electronic, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic test equipment, military specifications and test procedures.
• Ability to apply broad knowledge of other related engineering areas to area of expertise.
• Ability to assess and effectively implement continuous improvement principles and techniques.
• Ability to use standard business applications and specialized data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Study product characteristics, customer requirements, and government regulations to determine test objectives and requirements.
• Write development and qualification test procedures and prepare technical reports and data sheets.
• Conduct performance, life, environmental, structural, and operational tests for major programs.
• Interface with customers on status and results of testing.
• Analyze data and present complex test outcomes, recommending test changes as needed.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve testing methodologies and processes.
• Maintain test information databases and coordinate testing with external labs as needed.
